But today has been one of great joy... this morning just after Bud got home and I was putting on my shoes.. our doorbell rang... No one ever comes by much... so immediately I presumed it was the people in our old house with another problem.... NOT!
I hear this man's voice saying to Bud, "Can you spare a cup of coffee??" and Bud sort of stammered... and it was our "adopted" son Jamie!! (He and our son Mike were best bud's all thru school) In from Colorado and stopped to say hello to us... he never fails to come by no matter why he's here or how Rushed! he is.... a great surprise!!!, and we had breakfast together and chatted for a bit and had a few hugs... NICE.... and his children are here too, not sure they will be by... my it has been ooooh so long since we've seen them. But thanks to Facebook I can sort of keep track.
Jamie, the kids and Kelly are home because Kelly's mom in not doing well. She has cancer and not a good prognosis. That is a sad reason to come back to Indiana.
But the Lord has given us the most amazing winter and they have great weather to travel and do some things too.
I wish more people I know would pop in for a cup of coffee....
Yes it was a marvelous start to our day!
Even got some work done later... haha
