I was on Facebook and saw a new posting of 2 of our beautiful Great-granddaughters... they are sooo cute! Jenna was feeding cousin Mady..Jenna is 2, Mady is 1.
As I commented and wrote the words great-granddaughters I felt odd and yet fulfilled. I never thought that I would live long enough to share some of them. My prayer was to let me live long enough to see our kids grown and married. I got sooo much more...
Some of my grandparents didn't see their greats, and my parents didn't, Dad just saw grands. In fact some barely got to enjoy their children, let alone grands or greats!
How Blessed I Am!!
Some days it removes the aches and pains and tough days of life to just have them around... babies/toddlers can put a smile on your face and joy in your heart to say the least.
To see our grands, grown-up into fine men & women! Expecting the same from the greats...
Then I think about how Loving, how Trusting, how Inquisitive, how Uncomplicated they are as wee babes. How they love the simple things..
and the Lord says that unless we come to him as a little child......
And a little child shall lead them....
Today may be a day of looking up child verses...
