Spring! April 2013

Ahh what a beautiful day!! The sun is out and bright! The temp is in my number range and so we were outside! Got Spring Fever finally.. lol

We pulled a few remaining old stalks by the peonies.. See everything popping thru except the praying hands Hosta. hmmm

Even old Bud was out, but that's no surprise is it. He loves the outdoors. So he helped me get our garden pretties out and had a small accident... My Jim Mahon Bell he handed me, went right thru my fingers.. oh no!! the cord broke.. all is well it only chipped in a small place and the 'master fixer' fixed it and restrung it.. I am happy!
Our other big beautiful chime got wiped down and hung out too. Love to hear it!

Then he brought out the grill. OH Boy! now we have to lift up our sunken blocks and he even "tied her down." No wind moving her now!  No burgers tonight, gotta get the tank filled.. he chose meatloaf for the meat I laid out to thaw.  He likes it.

Sooo looks like we are ready for the summer to get here, grass will need to mowed shortly.. it has really grown with all of God's watering.
Personally I wish the warm weather would NEVER get beyond 75.. my best number would be 72 all year round, but that is dreaming isn't it? lol

Now to get the other bird feeders out when the time comes and to get our hanging basket plants.
    Doing things in short increments is a good thing... never to tired or hurt the old body!  Believe what I tell ya!!

So that's been my day, for now,  a good day... Thank you Lord.. think I'll get a cup of hazelnut coffee and head for my lawn chair in the sun... bye bye.
