"Look for...... "

Hello there again...
Amazing what my heart and mind will fill with in just a few short moments of pondering life. :-)
  Some days I feel the *rush* of time.. and other days it still seems as tho I have forever *here* yet... But you and I know different don't we?
  We have had to say goodbye for awhile to many loved ones recently. And we still have loved one & friends battling health problems.
  But one this morning on Facebook posted a nice comment on what a nurse did for her husband.. and that brought to mind 2 things for sure.. This nurse took into account that we are not just body, but mind and spirit also. And his wife in commenting .. noticed a small *silver lining* in that day... what a good thing for them both.
  I think I have commented on the Silver Linings before, but not sure on which blog or when... haha and that's ok...
  I am soooo happy that I was born in the time I was with the music of respect, encouragement, 'real' love & commitment, sometimes soothing to a troubled soul, and some with the "yes we can" attitudes! The 40's were great..and into some of the 50's also. 
   In the past months I've seen in action, "Look for The Silver Lining"... They may not have been *looking* per se, but they surely saw them.. Amazing how God Plans our lives & works things out.
   I conclude that we just might need to be doing more looking for the silver & gold in our lives (& people) than dwelling on past hurts, what we *think* people think of us or have done to us, our grievences, or the lot of our crummy life at the moment.  What say you?
   NOW I did not say that would be easy.. did I? Nor will we find the word easy in God's Word anywhere, But, it sure is more productive, fun, soothing, helpful to lean on God and to CHOOSE to Look for the Silver Linings in life or in people with his help... expecting the best in them & from them... After all, Life is just a choice, by the minute, isn't it?   Thanks Futrell's for all the reminder's...
   For it is in Giving that we get... this I *know* by experience and especially with my dad. :-)  
It is in forgiving that we receive it.. It's
in loving people warts & all, that we are loved.. and so on... and sometimes they don't have that many bad qualities, it's just my misperception. Or jumping to conclusions, :-) I'm a work in progress at this one... of treating people the way I want to be treated... I'll bet a lot of folks have issues here. BUT---
  Nothing... absolutely nothing is life is easy... but by *my* choices.... I can have
more than I ever dreamed... One day the Lord said, " What do you want Mary?"
"Give.. and it shall be given unto you..." Luke 6:38  (And it sure was!)
    Thank you Lord for the Word, your guidelines and your help to live life as you intended... and to be able to see the Silver Linings in each person or circumstance. :-)Thank you for the people and lives you set before us as examples..to challenge us.
   Help me to be a sanctuary to someone and a lovely fruit basket in the lives of others...
