Appreciation!!

Appreciation!!
   Do you have it? Do you show it? Right now I am aging and things tend to go kaput or wear out or whatever. More & more I appreciate the simple, and yet sometimes profound things of life.
    People are what I appreciate most. Those that serve others or call & check in.. Sometimes we are on the receiving end, and sometimes we are the givers. Have you noticed?  I hope so.
    Right now I am on the getting end. Bud has been a dandy help (again) being my twice daily eye drop giver. I was able to do my first eye, but not the second one. haha
    I miss things I cannot do... and took for granted..
     I miss people that have gone before me, and am soooo happy that I learned to tell folks I love you, and mean it. I appreciate you, and mean it. Sometimes we just pop off things out of our mouth .. *because it's the thing to do.*  Don't let that become you...
     I appreciate the beauty around me that God has created.. our trees, sky, flowers, birds, and even the snows of winter. lol
    I appreciate those *behind* the scenes people that a lot of the time are never thanked or appreciated. The custodians, the sound people, the kitchen people for funeral meals, those that bring food.. take food, the record keepers, the counters at our church, my the list could go on forever.
    Family members that tend to family members... wow! now that is (or was) a big job! for lots of us.  But so many do it so well and with great flair!! :-) "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." :-)
The Lord provides in sooo many ways! 
    Yes, for those that may be reading this, I appreciate your life and the fact that you take time to read an old woman's mental meanderings.. :-)  have a great day!! Lean on Jesus and....
