Have you ever heard about someone trying to get something done, working hard for it, and living in great expection? Now you yourself are looking forward to their accomplishing something. And supposedly it is directed at children/young people.. Ought to be great. I am excited, looking forward to great things.. proud to be a big advertising person on their behalf.. etc. etc. etc.
The closer they get, the more excited you are about it.
Then, the day of completion comes! Hooray! Proud of you! Good job! and all the congrats you can think of come to mind.
BUT-- before you get those out of your mouth, you realize you were not on the same page. In all good conscience I cannot share with my friends.. boohoo!
I expected something with a basis of love & great expectations, urging young people onward & upward.. and that was covered over by the acceptance and usage of smutty words.. WHY?? oh Why?
With the expanse of words, in the English language especially, is there no other way for our children, young people, let alone so-called *adults* to express themselves? It just saddens me to think that such words are the excepted norm in today's world..
Yes, the air was let out of the balloon of joy fast. Disappointed, saddened, disillusioned, oh well, there is always tomorrow and another day.. I tend to keep looking forward & up and maybe, just maybe next time I will be busy promoting, bragging on, and sharing in another accomplishment... Hope so.. hope I live that long.. haha..
