Focus!

   Have you ever thought of "Focus" much? I haven't but today for some reason it has been the word of my day. 
   I know a bit about discipline, prioritizing, and such.. but then comes along "Focus."  
   Went to a Bible study starting today and chatted with a few people afterward. As I got home, "Focus" came into mind.. You know that woman with "The Meandering Mind? I know her quite well... so 
   Do we have Focus? What's our main Focus? Am I focused? Is the church focused? And if so, whom or what am I/we focused on?
  In the scheme of Eternity will what I am Focused on matter? Ya see we can go down many avenues. Will my Focus benefit me? Will it benefit anyone else? Will I be transformed in any good manner? 
    As a Christian, Christ should be my Focus. Don't you think?
    The Bible study is Called ~ "A Woman's Heart"... What is my Magnificent Obsession? Where is my heart & mind focused? Who desires to reside there so much that He pursues me???? (first thing learned today)
Are earthly things, places, people or The Lord God Almighty my Main Focus? 
   Are the things I am involved in, tho they're maybe pretty good, focused on Him first and foremost, do they bring me closer & closer to Him? Do they invite others to taste and see that the Lord is good and is pursuing them too?
  In relationships am I focused on salting some people and sharing the light with others?
   Are my thoughts being transformed by the Word of God to have the mind of Christ. 
   Is my speech.. uplifting? kind? helpful? inspiring, redemptive? Am I being salt & light? Am I Focused on my marching orders or living life haphazardly?? Sorta slipshod? Do I have a plan? or am I flitting from one idea/thought/thing to do constantly? 

   God is creative! God is organized not disorderly, God has plan A and never deviated from it.. No plan B, Just plan A.. From the beginning to the end! 
   What are my plans.. do they match up with His as his children? Getting on bicycle of life it is best to let Him steer and I just pedal!! Keep my Focus on Him!
   Time to do some weeding out of those things that hinder my focus. Those weeds creep up fast and sometimes are not noticed till God uses *someone* OR *something* to get our attention.
Be Alert! Get Focused, Stay Focused! Get a Main Plan and let all else fall in place behind it.  

                Plan the work, Work the Plan. (God did)
             If we fail to plan, we plan to fail. (Let's not)
       MAIN FOCUS ~ Jesus Christ, His Word, and Marching orders. All else we are involved in should lead us, direct us, bring us & others to Him and His Plan A. 
  Open Hearts, Transformed people with Renewed Minds, Willing feet, will bring us joy, peace, and harvest.
    Be busiest at the Main thing, let the rest go..even some things we may *think* are good & ok, may have to go to clear our focus...unless in them.. our goal is disciple making..   Much to dwell on and I'm sure more will come in the next few days...  The Lord is like that. :-)
