Ah yes.. been awhile since I have posted... but today has been a day of sadness, joy, peace, and reconnecting. :-)
My dear cousin Raymond Eck passed on to his real glorious home in heaven this week. He knew and loved Jesus! He loved his & Karen's little corner of the Bigger Church in DeMotte. He was an Eck, for sure with all their humor & wit, and he loved people, and I was one of the ones to feel that.
No we did not see each other every day, but when we did it seemed as tho we had just been together.
His memorial/funeral service brought back many memories... and a peace about his Home-going. Beautiful service.
It was wonderful to connect again with other family members and the children of some I had not seen since they were "little shavers" lol We shared life, laughter and appreciation for one another as we broke bread together. The church provided a dandy meal, and a place to let-down & re-fuel, and they did a wonderful job. I felt right at home.
Then I came home to retouch on my Bible Study lesson for tomorrow again... WOW!!
Title: Give Thanks-- Anyway!!
with all the news & just living life, some days are really tough but...
The Point: We can give thanks in every situation.
Mary's Translation.. My God is never late, is always on time, and meets every need. His ways are not always my ways, but His ways are the best ways... Much to be thankful for! And families are family forever.. whether near or far... here or gone.
God Bless & keep you my reader.. Till next time.
