I have always been a committed, steady freddy, don't rock the boat sort of person. Or hadn't ya noticed? lol
Once I commit, or join, I stick with it.
Be it marriage, clubs, group, friendships, class, church, etc. Once in, I'm there for life! Warts & all, and try to always make things better for everyone, rather than get bitter. Oh there have been bumps, rocks, a few pebbles, along the way to be honest, but I have found them to be learning times on the Potters wheel. And have found ways to apply the lessons in other areas for the benefit of not just me, but others too. Always others minded is a good thing.
And God has been good to not rock my boat much either. Thank you Thank you Lord.
When I think of what many others I know have had on their plates ~ wow! I am just a baby starting life.
Honest? NO I DO NOT LIKE CHANGES! Of any kind. I am comfy, happy & appreciative of my 80 years and what we have struggled & worked for and that God has allowed us to have & go through.
I don't like deaths, I don't like long drawn out illnesses, I don't like job losses, I don't like when people move away, I don't like divorces especially when kids are involved, I don't like wars, hate for what really? I don't like *drama,* I don't like broken families, I don't like change of routines, I don't like the time changes, and as you can see, there is a lot I don't like!
But God is the choreographer of everything and to everything there is a season he says.
Remember to seek Him & the lesson he is teaching, sometimes for me.. sometime for others and apply his word to life and look up! look out! and see the works of Almighty God. He is everywhere, In everything, and IF we are his Children, like any Good Father, he is most concerned about every little bit of our lives & those we touch, or cross paths with... and His purpose for our lives is to Reflect our Father to Others. hmmm
Do all for the Glory of God & the Benefit Of Others.
Be still ~ and *hear* the still small voice of the Lord. He will confirm his will, his truth to us.
Thanks for the reminder Father....
