This past weekend Bud took me to my 2 favorite places.. I have NOT been on vacation in a long time, and maybe cause he loves me, he felt sorry for me, I don't know... but it was a very blessed and beautiful afternoon. God is sooo good!
Our weather was COOL.. my favorite. There was a dandy wind... and the waves on Lake Michigan were higher than ever I'd been there. They reminded me of my favorite places in Florida.. the ocean side OR the gulf side... no matter... SOOO in a "small way" (remember the small things/little things? or was that the other blog? lol) I had a mini vacation!
As I was sitting at the computer a memory of when I was small, flooded back.. Driving around Bass Lake here in Indiana. Sitting on my dad's lap, like I was driving. "Maybe" just "Maybe" they had me near & in water a lot and I just don't remember. Could be a reason why I love it so and it soothes me so. Not sure and no one left to ask. But whatever... I am a Water & Sky Gal... and am just in awe of the beauty God has created for us to enjoy..
I hope you have one "small/little" thing that blesses you, can soothe you in a short time and brings joy to your life. I am sooo happy to have found this unusual place near us that fits the bill for me.
