Ahh Monday!
Bud made it home fine from his weekend trip to Iowa.. I don't do as well as I used to when he's gone.. :-)
I had a good weekend here too... puttered around here.. Saturday I did Bible study plan.. went to the store and loaded up on my gluten free bread and a few things. Sort of boring, I called my cousin to go see her, but no answer and she never called back.
Then Sunday came & was another great day at First Baptist Church in Griffith... AM & PM Pastor Hobbs did AM and Pastor Obinger did PM. (Pastor Hobbs just got back on Sat. from long trip of taking son back to college)
AFTER the AM service we had our benefit lunch for our Builders For Christ Ministry.
I went home to eat, then went back, and helped count the days monies... and then gathered up some food to take to one of our families. She is fighting cancer and he is not 'real' good in the kitchen.
Our weather here has been just great!! Bright sunny, cool temps and breezes! love it!
Today I have been trying to rid some clutter around my desk. Bud has gotten the bugs off the motorcycle... and I hear thunder in the distance... Storm warnings out in Illinois. Earlier I was out feeding my plants and felt a drop on my neck. Standing near the humming bird feeder I was sure I got "dropped" on. haha But then there were a few more light drops... rain.. will we really get some or is that it?
Cousin Bill was to have a new procedure for his cancer today, and we are hoping all went well and we get an update soon.
Not a real exciting day... but those come along more often than not. I call'em.. a "just living life" day, and enjoy the quiet unhurried pace.
Well off to "think" about "What shall I do with that hamburger for supper??" lol
